Browser as a Platform for "Heavy" Applications

More and more capabilities are becoming available for browser applications: multithreading, GPU computing, 3D rendering, executing low-level code using WebAssembly, and much more.

In the talk, we'll discuss how all these technologies aid in working with chemical datasets comprising tens and hundreds of thousands of molecules. I'll share my experience in optimization, talk about which solutions were effective and which weren't, and what we can expect in the near future.

This talk revolves around technical solutions used for chemistry-aware dataviz made using JS/TS, Wasm and WebGL and can be enjoyed by developers of any experience level.
