CSS First. When JS Is Not Needed
In 2023, CSS can do many things that were previously only possible with plugged-in JS libraries. And those libraries required constant updates. But the principle "It works – don't touch it" doesn't let us lighten the bundle, and the old habit that some features don't work in all browsers yet makes things worse.
The speaker will show how to rewrite entire JS libraries using CSS and in what cases it should not be done.
