"Potokus" — the Innovative Technology for Creation of Everlasting Interactive Broadcasts: part 2

In August 2023, Art. Lebedev Studio released a major update of its website, turning it into an endless broadcast.

The engine for the new site — “Potokus” — is a technology that turns disparate media into dynamic content and assembles them into an interactive broadcast. There are no ready-made solutions in this area, so the project is full of engineering ingenuity and author's inventions.

Adam will tell us how "Potokus" is organized inside, as well as share unexpected solutions and his way of thinking during the technical design of the product.

The talk is divided into two parts: the first one is about the way of playing content and self-written framework for creating widgets, and the second one is devoted to the process of content creation and the interface that is hidden from the user.

The target audience is developers who are interested in full frontend engineering.
