He joined Yandex in 2006 as an HTML coder. As he grew in the company, he became a team leader, then a service head, then a department head. One of the creators of BEM and the common Lego block library within the company. In 2017, he stopped being an executive and returned to development, having not written code for five years before that. Now develops the frontend of Yandex Search, periodically changing virtual teams within Search. Actively participates in the organization of Yandex conferences, a permanent organizer of the Yandex.Subbotnik on interface development.
